The detectives hired by the Consell de Ibiza have infiltrated 33 illegal parties this summer on the island, according to the first vice-president and councillor for Territory and the Fight against Intrusiveness, Mariano Juan.
The detective service, contracted to detect and enter illegal parties and combat intrusiveness in the leisure sector, was initiated in the 2021 season, following the health pandemic, due to the proliferation of these activities.
Mariano Juan has highlighted that there is a downward trend in illegal parties and that in no case do they reach the number that were held at the height of the pandemic, when they increased due to the fact that the leisure sector remained closed.
The detective company is currently continuing to work in order to detect and dissuade the organizers in the coming weeks, when the closures of the Ibizan nightclubs will take place.
All the information of each of the 33 parties detected and documented after their infiltration, according to Juan explained, has been transferred to the corresponding town halls in order to initiate the sanctioning proceedings.
