Clothes found in well of squat house in Ibiza after searches for body of Nuria Escalante

One of the garments, the smallest, might be that of a woman. Investigators need to determine if this belonged to the missing woman in 2018

The investigation team in charge of the search for the body of Nuria Escalante, formed by agents of the Policía Local de Sant Antoni and the Guardia Civil, as well as the judicial police, have found different items of clothing during the search of the cisterns, septic tanks and wells of the squat house in Pablo Picasso Street, inspected between yesterday and today. This is the house adjacent to the former residence where one of the main suspects in the disappearance of the woman, 52, resided in 2018.

It appears that one of the garments, the smallest one, could belong to a woman, according to official sources of the investigation. A team of specialists will examine the clothes found to determine if they belonged to Nuria Escalante. With respect to the water drained from the different wells and cisterns, the agents proceeded to dump it in a place where this newspaper has not had access, in search of small clues that would lead to Escalante, such as a “lipstick” or a “cell phone”, the agents explained.
