The best plans for the weekend in Ibiza and Formentera

Two festivals, the Dreams of Freedom in music, and Barruguet in family theater, mark the agenda for the next few days in Ibiza.

The first starts this Thursday and Friday with acoustic concerts in the Mercat Vell and dj’s in the Plaza del Parque, to disembark with the whole team on Saturday on the promenade of Vara de Rey. This year all concerts are free.

In addition, on Thursday also starts the cycle dorado Live Shows‘, with the return of Carlos Sadness on the Venice Bay stage in Cala de Bou.

For its part, the Barruguet Festival will be the focus of attention for families with children throughout the weekend in Santa Eulària, with theater, music, clown, circus, puppets… from Friday to Sunday.

The theater also has one of the important appointments this weekend, with the play ‘Facts and faults’starring Jorge Sanz and Ángeles Martín, on Saturday at Can Ventosa. Also noteworthy is the play ‘Hechos y faltas'[]starring Jorge Sanz and Ángeles Martín ‘Dones de la sal’, by Pedro Cañestro’s theater company, on Sunday at the Auditori Caló de s’Oli.

And on Saturday there are also two concerts with cinema as a reference: ‘Cinema en concert’, by the Ensemble de saxofons del Patronat de Música d’Eivissa at sa Font des Xiquet des Cubells, and ‘Música i animació’, of Disney and Pixar films by the Band of Sant Antoni in Cas Serres.
