Agents of the Policía Nacional in Ibiza arrested a 31 year old man of Polish nationality last Friday as the alleged perpetrator of a crime against public health, another of damage and another of resisting authority.
The incident occurred last Friday at 4:30pm, when the Policía Nacional arrested a man in a street near avenida de Vuit d’Agost in the municipality of Ibiza.
Given his strange behavior, the agents identified and searched the individual and found narcotic substances in the search, which were seized, as well as cash.
In total they seized half a gram of cocaine, 1.35 grams of pink cocaine, 2.79 grams of ecstasy, 2.18 grams of MDMA, 48.32 grams of white substance in undetermined powder, 1.87 grams of hashish and 70 euros in cash, “for which reason they proceeded to arrest him as the alleged perpetrator of a crime against public health”.
The detainee has been handed over to the Examining Magistrate’s Court.
According to this State security body, the facts were triggered when the Guardia Civil agents who were carrying out prevention work were warned by the 091 room to go to the area, where a man was being held for some damage he had caused to several vehicles on the public highway.
Guardia Civil agents detain man until Policía Nacional arrive
At the scene were two female Guardia Civil agents who were holding a man with the help of two other citizens. Apparently, while they were in a shop near the area, the agents observed from inside how a young man hit several vehicles parked on the public road and even ripped off several mirrors and dented some doors.
The Guardia Civil agents reproached the individual for his attitude and the now arrested responded “with several physical and violent aggressions towards them”.
