A 36-year-old British tourist died in the early hours of this morning at the Emergency Room of the Hospital Can Misses of Ibiza after being admitted to the Health Center of the 8 d’Agost Avenue with a intoxication by drugs, as explained to Diario de Ibiza health sources, although this detail has not been confirmed by the Health Area pitiusa.
The man arrived in serious condition at the Health Center aboard an Uber, so the medical staff decided to transfer him to Can Misses Hospital. At that moment the professionals of the emergency service SAMU 061 were activated, who proceeded to his transfer.
The tourist suffered a cardiorespiratory arrest in the ambulance while he was being transferred to the Can Misses Hospital, although the medical services managed his recovery. In any case, and despite the efforts of the medical staff, his death was certified in the emergency room at 4:55 a.m., after suffering another cardiorespiratory arrest.
