The Guardia Civil has arrested a British man for an alleged drug trafficking offence at Ibiza airport, according to the Guardia Civil in a statement.
Civil guardsmen from Fiscal and Frontiers who provide services at the airport were requested this Thursday by the Airport Coordination and Operations Center (Cecoa), who reported a “conflicting passenger” on a flight from Birmingham.
The agents boarded the plane, once the seat assigned to the conflictive passenger had been located, together with a guide from the Guardia Civil’s cynological service and his dog.
Upon identifying the passenger indicated by the crew, during the search of his belongings and the seat he was occupying, they found two wrappers, one containing just over 25 grams of cocaine, and another containing 33 grams of ketamine.
