A man will be tried this Thursday in the Provincial Court of Palma for an alleged crime of injury for events that took place on the evening of August 7 in a restaurant in Ibiza, when the accused punched another man after a heated argument.
As described in the prosecution’s indictment, the blow caused several injuries to a part of the assailant’s face, including fracture of the jaw on the right facial side and also a part of the dentition, which required surgical treatment.
The man needed, after the medical intervention, four days of hospitalization and another 240 days of healing (60 of them incapacitating). The injuries also caused him local motor, sensory and nervous sequelae for which the defendant is required to pay a compensation of 33,582 euros for the victim.
