Parents used the opportunity to involve children, hoping to instil empathy by helping those in need. As the donation mountain grows, organisers have prepared larger trucks to transport the estimated 25 tonnes of aid, comprising essentials from food to first-aid kits and winter clothes. Locals feel a strong sense of solidarity, with many mentioning personal ties to Valencia, while others simply want to help those affected by what many believe is an underreported disaster.
