Daniel Sancho, son of actor Rodolfo Sancho, who has admitted to having dismembered in Thailand the Colombian surgeon Edwin Arrieta, with whom he was romantically involved, had been two weeks before the crime in Ibiza with the victim, according to the newspaper OK Diario and as attested by a photo published by Sancho on social networks.
According to this image and as the information of this national media, Sancho and Arrieta spent a few days together in Ibiza just a couple of weeks before meeting in the Asian country where the crime took place last Tuesday, August 1.
In addition, reports OK Diario, it was in Ibiza where the two friends agreed to meet throughout the month of August on the island of Koh Phangan, in Thailand.
Sancho was arrested by Thai police a day after the murder. The cook has since helped to reconstruct the crime scene and to find the fourteen pieces in which he dismembered surgeon Edwin Arrieta “for three hours”, as he himself has detailed in one of his statements.
For the time being, he will be admitted to a Thai prison until all the evidence is collected and the trial is held, when the possibilities of his later transfer to a Spanish prison will be determined.
