A burst water supply pipe, under the responsibility of Aqualia, in the town of Sant Jordi has left around 2.500 citizens without water this morning. Some of the residents in the area woke up this morning without water. After calling the breakdown service they have discovered that it is not a scheduled cut but a breakdown. In fact, some have seen Aqualia workers working in the street to try to solve the burst.
The breakdown, as reported by Aqualia, occurred around five o’clock this morning and the workers have been working on its repair since early this morning.
According to the company, the work is expected to last until midday, when, if there are no unforeseen circumstances, the fault will be fixed and the residents will have their water supply restored.
