Ibiza airport growth slows in February

Ibiza Airport closed the month of February with 213.760 passengers (counting arrivals and departures), 0.1% more than in the same month last year. This is a growth practically insignificant especially considering that it is the low season and the magnitudes involved are very small.

Aeropuertos Españoles y Navegación Aérea (AENA) explains that, as always, the bulk of travelers moved on commercial connectionsspecifically, 213.672. “Of all of them, 195,307 flew between Spanish cities (-0.3%), while 18,365 chose to fly with other countries (5.5%).”

Compared to last month’s performance, with a very limited incidence of tourism, of international trafficthe countries with the highest number of passengers were Netherlandswith 7.961 travelers; United Kingdom, with 4,878, France, with 3,134 y Germany, with 1,562 passengers.

In terms of operations (recording both aircraft landings and take-offs), Ibiza airport “handled a total of 2,514 flights, 4.8% more than in the same month last year”.

In the first two months of the year, the es Codolar airport counted 424.610 passengers, 1.7% more than in the same months of 2024. A total of 5,188 aircraft operations were carried out, up 4%.

AENA explains that its Aena Group airports (46 airports and two heliports in Spain, London-Luton Airport and 17 airports in Brazil), “closed the second month of 2025 with 24,537,134 passengers, 4.4% more than in the same month of 2024; managed 223,083 aircraft movements, 4.7% more than in 2024; and transported 111,790 tons of cargo, 4.7% more than last year”.
