More than 1,700 euros to stay on Ibiza on New Year’s Eve

New Year's Eve on Ibiza: enjoying the island on the last night of 2022, only suitable for selected pockets

Traveling to Ibiza to spend New Year’s Eve to celebrate the arrival of 2023 could be an affordable luxury if the visitor chooses to rent one of the most impressive villas on the island. Although in winter they are still expensive for the average pocket, taking into account that in high season they can cost up to 16,000 euros per night, at the end of the year it becomes a good opportunity to stay in one of them if the current account of the person concerned has not suffered with inflation. You should also know that these magnificent houses must be rented for a minimum of 6 nights.

A search on Airbnb is enough to find the most expensive villas to enjoy New Year’s Eve on the island. For 1,405 euros per night (8,430 for six days) you’ll find Can Tashellu, located in Santa Eulària. The property consists of a main house (3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms en suite and separate bathroom) and a cottage also overlooking the pool and terrace (2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, living room, kitchenette).

New Year’s Eve on the high seas

You can also choose to spend New Year’s Eve at sea. For this there is the sailboat ‘La bella Lola’ (8,851 euros for 6 days). If the weather is good it can be a very satisfying experience, but not cheap.

For 1,659 per night you can find a villa in Sant Josep (Casa Loco Loco) which can accommodate 14 people in its seven rooms, distributed over two buildings set on 7,000 square meters of land. A large, super-equipped open kitchen offers everything you need for lunches and dinners around an indoor table for 10 people and a large fireplace.

If the group can afford 10,637 euros for six nights, you can rent Casa Malalt, a 9-hectare estate 3.5 kilometers from the center of Ibiza. It has a main house and a guest house with a total of 9 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms. The main house is a typical Ibizan construction, from the 19th century, recently renovated.

Can Sinatra, in Santa Eulària, is the most expensive villa listed on Airbnb to spend New Year’s Eve: 1,776 euros per night. It has 7 bedrooms for 12 guests maximum. The house is surrounded by 16,000 square meters of land and has a disco, ideal for a party and to celebrate the arrival of 2023.
