The Balearic Govern has today authorized the payment of 351 million euros to companies that had applied for aid exceeding 500.000โฌ and to a small remainder of other businesses, within the package of 855 million euros provided by the State Executive to alleviate the losses caused by the pandemic to the fabric of the Balearic business economy.
One aspect that is being valued by business organizations is that this allocation of funds has been widely distributed, also reaching many SMEs, since the highest amount that is paid per business is 600,000 euros .
It should be recalled that the Govern already authorized in July the delivery of about eight million for self-employed and small businesses that pay tax modules, on the 9th of this month another 334 million was approved for businesses with fewer than 10 workers, and on the 14th the green light was given to the payment of 143 million for those with more than 10 employees who request less than half a million euros.
On this occasion, the 351 million euros approved today will be distributed among 729 companies on the islands.
The president of the employers’ association PIMEM, Jordi Mora, has particularly valued the large number of businesses that have finally benefited from this economic injection.
