The ‘Ibiza, Always in Fashion’ campaign brings a curated selection of designs to Madrid, highlighting the many expressions of Adlib style at the Museo del Traje.

Adlib Ibiza once again brought the creativity, craftsmanship and distinctive character of Ibizan fashion to Madrid this Tuesday, September 8. The island’s iconic fashion label featured in the programme of Omoda Madrid es Moda with a special exhibition at the Museo del Traje, showcasing creations from thirteen fashion and accessory brands from Ibiza.

This marks the fourth time Adlib Ibiza has taken part in the Omoda Madrid es Moda programme. The event is part of the ‘Ibiza, Always in Fashion’ campaign, promoted by the Consell Insular de Ibiza with the support of the Balearic Government. The initiative aims to strengthen the international and national visibility of fashion from the island and bring its creative identity beyond Ibiza’s shores.

Designers, handcrafted creations and accessories

During the event, models moved through different areas of the Museo del Traje, presenting designs by Ibimoda, Ibiza Stones, Ivanna Mestres, Monika Maxim Ibiza, Piluca Bayarri, Tony Bonet, Vintage Ibiza and Virginia Vald.

The looks were complemented by accessories from Dolors Miró Ibiza, Espardenyes Torres, K de Kosekose, S72 Hat and Elisa Pomar Ibiza, offering visitors a broad overview of the creative ecosystem behind contemporary Adlib fashion.

The selection reflected the many ways Ibiza’s designers interpret fashion, from the revival and reinterpretation of traditional techniques and elements to more contemporary silhouettes and concepts. Across the different collections, craftsmanship, island identity and Mediterranean character remained common threads.

Maria Fajarnés, Executive Councillor for Economic Promotion, Municipal Cooperation and Human Resources at the Consell de Ibiza, described Adlib Ibiza’s participation in another edition of Omoda Madrid es Moda as an opportunity to showcase what the label represents beyond the island: creativity, craftsmanship, tradition and a distinctive approach to fashion that has evolved while preserving its essence.

“Adlib Ibiza is much more than a fashion label; it is part of our identity and also a magnificent calling card for Ibiza,” Fajarnés said.

She also highlighted the design, artisanal expertise and local talent behind each of the pieces presented in Madrid.

A platform for independent fashion

Adlib Ibiza’s presence at Omoda Madrid es Moda provides the Ibizan label with greater exposure through a platform connected to Madrid Fashion Week and promoted by the Association of Fashion Creators of Spain (ACME).

The initiative places particular emphasis on independent fashion, artisanal production and the principles of slow fashion, creating a natural setting for Adlib Ibiza’s philosophy and design heritage.

The Ibizan label will continue its participation in the Omoda Madrid es Moda programme, with the aim of strengthening the presence of Ibiza fashion in the Spanish capital and showcasing a creative proposition that brings together the island’s artisanal roots and contemporary design.

55 years of Adlib Ibiza

Adlib Ibiza now has 55 years of history. Founded in 1971, the label has evolved over the decades while retaining a philosophy centred on craftsmanship, creative freedom and respect for Ibiza’s cultural roots.

That enduring identity is summed up by the motto that has accompanied Adlib Ibiza since its beginnings:

“Dress as you wish, but with taste.”
