The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has extended the maximum yellow level for high temperatures in the Balearic Islands until next Tuesday.
In a Twitter message collected by Europa Press, Aemet details that in Mallorca and Menorca temperatures will exceed 36ºC, while in Ibiza and Formentera thermometers will mark up to 35ºC.
High minimum temperatures
As for minimums, the highest in Mallorca have been recorded in Far de Capdepera (27 º C) and the lowest in Escorca (16 º C). On the other hand, in Menorca the minimums have been around 24ºC in Ciutadella and 21ºC in Ciutadella-Cala Galdana, while on Ibiza they have oscillated between 23ºC at Ibiza airport and 20ºC in Sant Joan de Labritja.
