The Balearic delegation of the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has confirmed the arrival of a new front to the Balearic archipelago that will leave “intense and persistent” rainfall. It has made the announcement through its official Twitter account, which details that this new unstable situation will begin on Wednesday, although it will not be until Thursday when the rains and storms “intensify and become widespread”.
Widespread rains from Thursday
The forecast for Ibiza and Formentera is that the rains will arrive on Thursday, being especially significant during the afternoon. For Friday the Aemet foresees that the precipitations will persist, although they will ease off in the lead up the weekend.
As for temperatures, they will remain stable throughout the week. The minimum will not exceed 20 degrees, standing between 17 and 19; while the maximum will be around 25 or 26 degrees.
