A new rental concept is being advertised on Formentera. In fact, the first advertisement appearing on Idealista (out of six in total) is about a new rental concept which consists of becoming a member of an “exclusive” club. In this way, upon payment of a fee, “you can enjoy a beachfront studio for 1 year or 6 months”. But there’s a catch: you can only join for one week a month. You can choose between an annual fee or a six-monthly fee, and the fee, the ad explains, is less than the cost of four weeks during high season. “This means you can enjoy the other eight weeks free of charge,” they add. The service will be available from May next year.
Available rentals
The other ads offer a penthouse rental for 900 euros per month only during the school year; a studio of 30 square meters for fifty euros more for the whole year and for 990 euros an apartment in Sant Francesc is offered, also for 12 months. In addition, there is an ad for a rural house for 2,000 euros per month that is rented for “long periods”; however, the advertiser clarifies that “the contract will be for short term rental, with a seasonal lease with a minimum stay of 31 days and the tenant must leave the property at the end of the contract”. The same ad assures that the property does not have a tourist license and that it does not allow parties or any noisy events.
