The events that were suspended last year for the Fira de la Sal are back and it is always the perfect excuse to stroll around Ses Salines and Sant Jordi and learn about the history and secrets of the salt flats. Always an interesting date.
Although Halloween is usually confined to schools, private parties and nightlife venues, which are closed, the Santa Eulร ria Town Hall has been encouraged to organise activities in its youth centres, and Sant Josep will celebrate with an urban party for young people in Sant Jordi.
Also related to Halloween is the musical and horror comedy ‘Monster for Love’ all weekend at Can Ventosa, or the screening of the classic horror film ‘The Shining’ on Saturday at the Cala Llonga drive-in, which will also be held for charity, with proceeds benefiting Ibiza y Formentera Contra el Cรกncer.
Dance dance also has a specific importance this weekend, with the contemporary show ‘Kenophobia’ at Cas Serres, as part of the dance season, and two more in the auditorium des Calรณ de s’Oli: ‘Las Muchas’ and the family show ‘Nou‘, both by Mariantรฒnia Oliver’s troupe.
But there is much more, such as the circus show ‘Los viajes de Bowa’, at the Palacio de Congresos de Santa Eulร ria, or the children’s show ‘El tresor del mar’ at the Sant Josep library.
And for lovers of health and wellness activities, the Six Senses hotel is hosting the second edition of the Ibiza Wellness Weekend, with yoga, fitness and healthy eating. An event that can be seen live for free through the Instagram account @ibizahealthandbeauty.
