The thermometer last night was close to 0 degrees in Ibiza and Formentera, which has left a freezing night in all areas of the island, especially in the north. The municipality in which the lowest temperature has been recorded was Sant Joan, where the mercury has reached barely one degree. This is the second lowest minimum recorded tonight in the islands, only surpassed by the 0 degrees that have been reached in Torrella, in the Serra de Tramuntana, in Mallorca.
In Sant Antoni the thermometer has gone down to the three degrees while in the case of Vila, a minimum temperature of four degrees was recorded last night. At the airport, the mercury has reached five degrees.
However, the minimum temperature has been somewhat higher in Formentera, where it has been registered eight degrees.
This Wednesday temperatures are expected in the Pitiusas ranging between 5 and 15 degrees. In addition, the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) forecasts rainfall from 18 hours.
