Chernet Misganaw Takele slashes the Ibiza Half Marathon record

The Ethiopian has slashed the best time of the Ibiza Half Marathon by three minutes.

One hour, eleven minutes and twenty-eight seconds. This is what it has taken the athlete Chernet Misganaw Takele to run the 21 kilometers of the Ibiza Half Marathon that separate Sant Josep from the port of Ibiza. The Ethiopian has pulverized the race record, slashing the best time registered to date by three minutes. Almost five minutes later her compatriot Valentine Jebet, who stopped the clock in 1:15:53. The third place went to the local triathlete of the Ibiza Half Triathlon, Susana Sevillano, who achieved a time of 1:25:29.
