Adlib presents its 2022 bridal collection in Mallorca

Ibiza wedding fashion will be mixed with contemporary art during the weekend at the Gerhard Braun gallery in Palma de Mallorca

The Consell de Ibiza will present the 2022 bridal collections of nine Adlib Ibiza designers from 20th to 22nd November, as part of an innovative fashion & art event at the Gerhardt Braun Palace gallery (C/Sant Feliu 10) in Palma. The event, open to the public from Saturday to Monday from 10am to 8pm and from 11am to 6pm on Sunday 21st, will also bring together the islands’ leading media, influencers and companies specialising in the bridal sector, with the aim of promoting this fashion brand on its 50th anniversary.

According to the island’s councillor for Economic Promotion, María Fajarnés, “Adlib fashion has celebrated its 50th anniversary as a cultural heritage, with its sights set on craftsmanship and the recognition of meticulous and painstaking work, where human value is the main protagonist”. In this line, the head of Economic Promotion clarified that “Ibiza, an island of trend and innovation, in the last decade has taken a step further by consolidating the professionalization of the Adlib brand, enhancing bridal fashion, its procedures and craft techniques, in a clearly affective line and with a marked balance between the origins and the renewal of trends”.

Symbiosis between art and fashion

According to Fajarnés, the fact of holding this meeting in a gallery where works of art of great importance coexist in a natural and harmonious way, together with the proposals and showrooms of Ibimoda, Ivanna Mestres, Monika Maxim Ibiza, Tony Bonet, Vintage Ibiza, Virginia Vald, K de Kose-Kose Privée, S72 Hat and Espardenyes Torres, “will serve to demonstrate the perfect symbiosis between art and fashion, as there is no better alliance to praise the work of our artisan artists,” said Fajarnés.
