The Camerata Deià Piano Quartet is the guest ensemble this year for the second edition of the benefit concert in aid of Apneef, which will take place on Friday, 8th October at 8pm at Santa Eulària Palacio de Congresos and on Saturday, 9th October at 8.30pm at Formentera Local Cinema.
The aim of these concerts is to raise funds for the opening of the new Santa Eulària headquarters of the Ibiza and Formentera association for people with special needs, which is expected to open within two months and assist about 80 families in and around the Santa Eulària area, as the manager of Apneef, Carmen Boned, explained yesterday.
There they will offer therapies for children and the associaction’s early care service, so that families do not have to travel to Ibiza, in addition to treatments and activities for adolescents. “We offer users a global service in different ways: therapies, psychology, speech therapy, psychomotricity….We conduct a holistic assessment of each user in order to develop a comprehensive action plan tailored to each case, according to their needs, so that they can progress and be as autonomous as possible”.
Apneef currently assists 419 families in Ibiza and Formentera, at its headquarters in Vila and in the spaces provided by town councils and the Consell in Santa Eulària, Sant Antoni and Formentera, but this new 230-square-metre space will provide care with the highest levels of assurance and quality.
