Ibiza and Formentera continue to record mild temperatures this week. The minimum early this morning was 16 degrees in Ibiza, Sant Joan and Formentera, while at the airport it was 15 degrees. This Monday, the maximum temperatures rose to 22 degrees in Ibiza and 20 degrees in Sant Joan, the airport and Formentera, according to data from the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet). These temperatures will remain the same on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
The Aemet has activated the yellow risk for strong gusts of wind and rough seas from noon on Wednesday. The wind alert ends at midnight on Wednesday and coastal phenomena, on Thursday at 8 am.
Southwest wind gusts of up to 70 kilometers per hour are expected and at sea, wind of 50 to 60 kilometers per hour (force 7) and waves of three meters high.
Clear skies will prevail all week until Friday, when the Aemet forecasts precipitation that may be accompanied by storms starting in the afternoon.
Mercury drop
On Saturday and Sunday there will be a significant drop of the minimum and maximum temperatures to 6 and 15 degrees, respectively. The snow level will be between 1,000 and 1,200 meters. There will be alternating clearings and clouds.
