The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has activated this Wednesday and, for the time being, until Friday, the yellow alert level for heavy rains and storms in the Pitiusas. According to the forecast, it could accumulate up to twenty liters per square meter in an hour. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday the probability of rainfall on Ibiza and Formentera is almost 100% and it is not until Sunday when it is expected to begin to subside.
Yellow Alert
The cause of this instability is a slow moving DANA which is located just above the Pitiusas, as explained by the Aemet in its official Twitter account. The wind will blow slightly from the east and northeast, although it will not be significant.
As for the temperatures they will remain steady, although facing the weekend the minimums could drop slightly, not exceeding 18 degrees. As for the maximums they will remain above 25 degrees throughout the week.
