Sant Josep celebrates this Saturday a new edition of the Flower Power Partywith a program that starts at 17.30 with the Mini Flower for the little ones and will continue until late at night with the group Rock The Night, and DJs Jordi Cardona and Javi Box to relive the music of the hippie era until 3 am, when it is planned to end the celebration. The Flower is held as part of the Fiestas de Sant Josep 2023 and mobilize as every year to the whole town, with a special atmosphere for the occasion, with psychedelic projections in the church square and several spaces where the music of the 60s and 70s will be the protagonist.
The good music will continue on Sunday, March 12, from noon with the Vermut a 45rpm and the performance of the Municipal Band of Sant Josep within the program ‘Viu Sant Josep al carrer’. Five parking areas have been enabled due to the expected influx of vehicles during the festival on Saturday, for which a special device has been organized by the Local Police and Civil Protection to ensure the safety of people.
The Flower Power
The family version of the party with the Miniflower will open the Saturday of the flowers at 5.30 pm. The Catalan Lali BeGood discovers ‘The Secret Garden’, his new show that sounds funky, reggae, ska, Balkan music and, above all, promises a lot of fun for the little ones in the house. In anticipation of a large influx of vehicles on the occasion of the Flower, a special device has been established by the Local Police of Sant Josep, in which also collaborate the volunteers of the group of Civil Protection of Sant Josep. In addition to ensuring the absence of incidents during the celebration, the agents will be available to all people who want to check if they are able to drive before taking the car, performing voluntary breathalyzer test to anyone who asks for it. To facilitate the parking for those who plan to reach the village by car, there are a total of five parking areas in the surrounding area, with the novelty of the esplanade located at the curve of the car wash, at the entrance to the village from Vila, at the junction with the avenue of the deputy Josep Ribas.
