Ibiza Medieval 2024 Fair: Application requirements

The Ibiza Town Hall has already published the bases for the concession of stalls for the sale of food and craft products of the Medieval Ibiza of 2024. The deadline for submission will end on April 2 and a maximum of 70 permits will be granted, as reported by the Councillor for Festivals, Participation and Neighborhoods, Francisco Torres.

As a novelty of this edition, the promenade of Vara de Rey and the Hammer, in the port of Ibiza, will also become scenarios for the massive party that every year thousands of people visit, including residents and tourists.

You can apply for the concession of stalls to the Medieval Fair of 2024, which will take place on May 9, 10, 11 and 12, 2024the registration is open to residents who have been registered for at least one year (from the date of the deadline for submission of applications) in a town of the Pitiusas Islands and who are included in any of the following sections:

People manufacturers and traders of food products that, for its characteristics and originality, the Town hall of Ibiza considers suitable for this fair. Artisans of goods appropriate to the type of medieval fair that is recreated, will be valued as merit and will have preference in their selection provided that the merchandise or place keeps some relationship with the medieval or Renaissance period. Other vendors who are not artisans who wish to participate in the medieval fair as long as the merchandise bears some relation to the medieval or renaissance period.

In addition, the City Council will take into account the characteristics of the merchandise and the setting of the stall, which must reflect the Christian, Arab and Sephardic cultures of the medieval and Renaissance periods. All stalls must be provided by the vendors and have their own structure and cover, as well as the appropriate decoration in the medieval period. The City Council will not provide any structure, tables, chairs or covers for the stalls of the participants.

Interested persons may submit applications in person at the entrance registry of the Town Hall of Ibiza in the offices of the SAC, in Canarias Street, No. 35, from 8.30 am until 2 pm from Monday to Friday, all this without prejudice to the provisions of Article 16.4 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, of common administrative procedure of public administrations.
