As can be inferred from the photos accompanying this information, the collision could have been caused by a rear-end collision, since the involved van has been embedded in the back of the truck of the municipal cleaning and waste removal service.

Precisely, from the City Council explain that the truck of Valoriza, the company that provides the municipal cleaning service, has braked when approaching a crosswalk to give way to pedestrians and “the van has not seen that braking and has collided from behind with the truck.” As a result of the collision there were no injuries.

In addition, from the Consistory they add that when the Local Police asked the driver of the private vehicle, who is a foreigner, for his documentation, “it turned out that he did not have it in order and he has been fined for not having his driving license in order”.
