Two vehicles, a Dacia Sandero and an Audi suffered today in the afternoon, at around 17.30 hours a violent head-on collision on the kilometer five of the Sant Joan (in the municipality of Santa Eulària), in a black spot on the road, according to sources close to the accident.
The traffic accident occurred when one of the vehicles was driving on the road in one direction and hit the other car that was driving in the opposite direction.

An 061 ambulance has moved to the point of the accident to assist the injured. The the road has been closed for about an hour to remove the vehicles, which were badly damaged after the accident, and also the debris scattered on the road.
Three roadside assistance teams from Ibiza Cranes have been in charge of these works while a patrol of the Guardia Civil regulated the traffic in the area. Last December, two 25 year old young men died at the same point of the highway after impacting a garbage truck.
