An radical change of weather to Spain, after the passage of the Nelson squall, which has left much of the country upside down. Some rains will persist in the northwest, but in general Spain is preparing for a great stabilization of the weather, with temperatures that are rising and will reach truly summer-like on Saturday, according to AEMET and specialized portals.
The State Meteorological Agency forecasts a rise in thermometers from this Wednesday until the weekend, and forecasts for Saturday highs of 30ยบ and 31ยบC in the southern half of the country, including Ibiza and Formentera, but also at the opposite extreme, as it forecasts 30ยบC in Bilbao for that day.
Also the portal eltiempo.es, through Marta Almarcha, agrees with this forecast. “This week a ridge and high surface pressure will be located over Spain, so stability will increase considerably. However, the anticyclone will not be very strong and some fronts will manage to sneak through the west of the peninsula and leave some rain,” he says.
12 degrees above normal since Friday
It is expected that, depending on the area of the country, temperatures could rise overnight by 6ยบ to 8ยบC. By Friday there could be up to 12 degrees above normal in the Cantabrian coast, Pyrenees, the surroundings of the Iberian System, southern Castilla y Leรณn, Castilla-La Mancha and the eastern interior of Andalusia.

AEMET expects for the saturday temperatures around 30ยบ C in places like Murcia, Melilla, Madrid, Lleida, Jaรฉn, Granada, Toledo, Zaragoza or Bilbao. That is, very different points of the Iberian Peninsula.
However, also that day there will be the entry of an Atlantic front from the northwest, which will leave cloudy skies and rainfall in Galicia, Asturias, west of Castilla y Leรณn and the Canary Islands. It is also likely calima in much of the Peninsula, so the rains may be accompanied by mud.
For Sunday, AEMET predicts a drop in temperatures, which will even be pronounced, and will return the unstable atmosphere, cloudiness and precipitation.
