The first swim of the year in Formentera is in es Caló

Residents of es Caló, Formentera, have been celebrating New Year’s Day by jumping into the sea from the local pier for years. Today, over twenty people, including swimmers of all ages and onlookers, participated. They ran into the sea, swam briefly, and then warmed up with hot chocolate.
