Tuesday November 1st Tots Sants is celebrated on the Islands and throughout the country as it is a holiday celebrated on the country’s calendar. The liberalization of commercial schedules a decade ago creates doubts whenever a holiday arrives as to whether or not the big supermarkets are open.
This year November 1st, falling on Tuesday, has allowed many companies to enjoy the long weekend holiday. Other workers have not been so lucky and although on Tuesday they will not have to go to their jobs, they have done so on Monday.
Supermarkets remain closed
In the case of large supermarkets, the large shopping centers on the island will not open on Tuesday. Mercadona, Lidl, Eroski Center, Hipercentro and Aldi will remain closed on All Saints Day.
