Sant Ferran de ses Roques gears up for a memorable celebration

The residents of Sant Ferran de ses Roques and, by extension, the entire island celebrated the town’s patron saint’s day on Tuesday, which began last weekend.

The events began yesterday afternoon with the celebration of mass, presided over by the bishop of Ibiza and Formentera, Vicent Ribas. This was followed by the procession with numerous parishioners and curious onlookers, mostly tourists, who watched the parade of all the saints and virgins that left the church.

Then it was the turn of the traditional dance groups, followed by the students of the School of Music and Dance. The music was provided by the municipal band, followed by DJ Padjesa (María José Cardona).
