The housing problem in Ibiza is known by all and has appeared several times in the national news and has been the protagonist of special programs on major networks. One of the housing problems (of many) that exist on the island is the expulsion of residents from homes that are renovated to increase their price, become tourist or simply, are rented only and exclusively in summer.
An example of this is the the market launch of an entire building in the heart of Ibizain ses Figueretes. The property is for sale even though it is currently on the market occupied by several tenants.
This building, located at 27 Navarra Street, for sale for 2,450,000 eurosit has four floors and first floor and on each level there are two dwellings (eight in total) of one and two bedrooms.

To make the sale of the property more attractive the ad explains: “ses Figueretes is the urban beach within Ibiza town, and is living a moment of reconversion, with new hotels, stores and restaurants, ten minutes walk from the historic center of Ibiza town and a few minutes drive from Platja d’en Bossa and the airport.
