The Uruguayan soccer player of Real Madrid, Fede Valverde, his wife Mina Bonino and their little son arrived on Ibiza on vacation on June 25th, where they rented a house.
On Friday, when the family was then back in Madrid, Bonino decided to tell of the traumatic robbery they experienced on their first night of vacation on the island on her Instagram profile.
She explains that when they arrived at the apartment they left the suitcases on the second floor and went to sleep, but the next morning, she especially, woke up with a deep feeling of discomfort and with a very upset stomach. When she went to the living room she saw her suitcases there and thought that someone from the service had brought them down. It all made sense when she went to get her wallet to get money to go to the beach and realized it was gone. Then she started to put things together and discovered that no one in the house had taken their suitcases down and all the cash they were carrying was missing (about 10,000 euros).
Mina’s theory is that she and her husband were drugged with some kind of aerosol, because, she claims, she should have been woken up simply by the sounds of carrying suitcases down a staircase. In fact, the next day she went to the PoliclÃnica Nuestra Señora del Rosario to undergo tests to confirm the substance allegedly used by the thieves to prevent them from waking up.

In her publications, Valverde’s wife believes that another possibility is that the chef they had in the house could have drugged them with the dinner or participated in some way in the robbery since the cook had the only key to the house they had at that time, because the next day he did not return to work for them and, always according to her perception, the chef behaved strangely.
The couple decided not to file a complaint of the robbery because they did not want to “make more trouble, waste time and because there had already been several players who had been robbed in their house in Ibiza”, explains Mina herself in a publication.
The day after this event they moved house and what “disturbs” Mina more than the robbery, is that some strangers have seen her sleeping naked.
