An Ibiza restaurant, Sutil Carbón, located in Platja d’en Bossa, is nominated for TheFork Restaurants Awards as a candidate to become the best space that has opened its doors in 2022.
In total, the jury, composed of 52 Spanish chefs with Star Michelinthe Michelin-starred chefs, such as Martín Berasategui, Elena Arzak, Mario Sandoval, Ramón Freixa and Carlos Maldonado, have compiled a list of 39 restaurants throughout Spain.
From the Balearic Islands there are two other nominated restaurants, both in Palma: Sala de Personal and Nus.
In these awards, the diner also takes the floor in the voting process, which starts this Wednesday and will be open until October 23rdthe voting process, which begins this Wednesday and will be open until next October[]will allow you to vote for the most outstanding gastronomic proposals from among the restaurants nominated by the chefs.
On November 13, the 10 proposals most voted by users will be unveiled at a gala to be held at the Palacio de Cibeles in Madrid. The number one will also receive the People’s Choice Award, which last year went to Manero of Madridcarlos Bosch’s gastronomic project.
“At TheFork we are convinced that many unforgettable moments happen around a table. For this reason, and in order to unite restaurants and diners even more, this year we are promoting the second edition of TheFork Restaurant Awards, the only awards that take into account both the talent and knowledge of our chefs, recognized worldwide, and our users who enjoy gastronomy,” explained the company’s general manager in Spain and Portugal, Sèrgio Sequeira.
