Pre-party of the occupants of the car that crashed after a chase on Ibiza

The driver of the crashed vehicle tested positive for alcohol and cocaine.

Moments before their car ended up crashing into a fence after a chase at more than 100km/h, three of the occupants of the vehicle were driving along Platja d’en Bossa leaning out of the window, shouting and dancing.

Car crashed after fleeing

Shortly after the video that accompanies this story was recorded, at a Sant Josep Policía Local control, the driver of the vehicle, a Peugeot with Italian license plates, fled, driving at high speed and endangering passersby who were in the street at that time.

At the access round about to the airport road, the driver lost control and ended up crashing into the steel poles of a billboard. Six units of the Ibiza and Sant Josep municipal police, four Guardia Civil cars and an ambulance were sent to the scene.

The driver was arrested and, after being attended to by medical staff, he was given a breathalyzer test, which showed a positive result of 0.58mg/l. The Sant Josep Town Hall also confirmed that the man had taken cocaine.
