The “Black Pearl” of Ibiza’s pirate taxi drivers has fallen

The Sant Josep Policía Local has nicknamed this pirate taxi that entered the airport more than 70 times in a month.

The Sant Josep Policía Local have announced on their social network profiles  the arrest of a new pirate taxi driver on Ibiza. According to the agents, he is not just any pirate, he is “Mr. Sparrow” and his “Black Pearl“, the “flagship of piracy”.

Thanks to the information gathered through the vehicle control system by reading the license plates, added to the collaboration of the taxi sector, they managed on Saturday to remove  a new illegal transport car from circulation, says the Policía Local.

This license plate reading system, they detail in their publication, allows them to know very important details such as the time slot of access to the airport, the most frequent day of the week and where it accesses the terminal.

Black Pearl pirate taxi entered the airport more than 70 times in a month

In the case of the “Black Pearl” pirate taxi, its driver used to access on Fridays and Saturdays, between ten at night and one in the morning. “The gentleman rests on Sundays”, the Local Police say ironically in the publication, adding that this driver entered the airport up to 72 times in a month.
