A couple of influencers decided to to sleep in a glass room, absolutely in sight located in the lobby of a hotel in Ibiza, and have decided to tell their experience in a TikTok video that has become very popular.
In this viral post uploaded to the popular TikTok account A Pretty Cool Hotel Tour, Margaret Bienert and her husband Corey shared footage of their stay at the Paradiso Hotel in Ibiza in the transparent room called ‘Zero Suite’.
“When I say hotel room in the shape of a glass box, I literally mean one glass box in the hotel lobby. We weren’t prepared for the experience,” Margaret explains in the video. “The only thing I knew before we started was that if you book, you can stay for free for one night. It seemed like a really fun idea, so of course I wanted to try it.”
The couple quickly discovered some drawbacks of this type of accommodation as they lay in bed, visible to other hotel guests passing through the area due to the proximity of the glass room to the hotel lobby. As if they were part of a work of art, one guest even took a picture of the couple with his cell phone trying to sleep.

“We discovered that the lights never go out and you’re basically on display all night,” Margaret noted. “Then I realized that this is an art hotel, so whoever sleeps in that room during the night is part of the decor.”
Already having gotten over this experience, Margaret believes that she should have prepared better for her stay in the transparent roomand entertained the other guests in the establishment instead of feeling so “vulnerable”. Some ideas she came up with after the fact were to paint a live painting or set up a fake kissing booth, charging $5 for a kiss through the glass and have people take pictures.
TikTok’s video recounting this experience in Ibiza, uploaded a week ago, has almost 2 million views.
Many users of this social network asked some details of their stay in this peculiar room, such as where the bathroom was located, to which Margaret replied that they had a private one… which is not transparent, fortunately.
