Mike Pickering, a prominent figure in British music since the 1980s, was awarded the distinction of ‘Legend’ at the International Music Summit (IMS) held in Platja d’en Bossa.
The English DJ and promoter is known for discovering talents such as Happy Mondays, Guru Josh, K Klaas, Black Box, Kylie Minogue, Kasabian, and Calvin Harris, who attended the dinner to honor Pickering.

The event was attended by 250 IMS delegates and included a charity auction of works by renowned artists, raising 21,000 euros for the Bridges of Music Foundation and the Association for Electronic Music. The House Gospel Choir of London provided the musical finale to the IMS event alongside DJ Andy Baxter.
