Celebrity chef Jamie Oliver’s forthcoming book, “Billy and the Giant Adventure”, is a children’s book illustrated by Monica Armino that combines adventure, friendship, mystery, and magic. Oliver admits that writing is one of the hardest things in his life due to dyslexia, but that has not stopped him from becoming one of the best-selling authors in the UK. Although the British press has criticized Oliver’s new book and his new show “Jamie’s £1 Wonders” for being out of touch with the financial struggles of some of his compatriots, Oliver remains true to his style of encouraging people to roll up their sleeves and get their hands dirty in the kitchen. Despite amassing a fortune, selling 48 million books, and having a television audience of 67 million people in 182 countries, Oliver experienced a business collapse in 2019, with 22 of the 25 restaurants in his group being declared bankrupt in the UK. Oliver is a family man with five children who has moved back to his cottage in Essex to write, raise his family, and take life more slowly.
