The driver of a Volkswagen Golf car has ended up overturned in the middle of the asphalt of the Sant Josep road after hitting a truck during midday on Thursday in Ibiza.
The incident took place at around 14.15 hours at the approximate height of kilometer four of the road. The driver of the car (a 37 year-old man of Spanish nationality) has impacted head-on against the left front axle of the truck, causing the car to overturn.
The man was injured with polycontusions and had to be evacuated to Can Misses Hospital, where he arrived at 14.35 hours, reported the Health Area of Ibiza and Formentera. The patient remains under observation in the Emergency Department.
Two roadside assistance teams from the company Grúas Ibiza arrived at the scene and removed the vehicle from the middle of the road. The Civil Guard has regulated the traffic during the removal of the car.
