A character from the famous cartoon series ‘The Simpsons’ talks about Ibiza in an episode of season 35, broadcasted on February 25th of this year. In this episode, Lisa Simpson learns to drive go-karts as a therapy to overcome the anxiety caused by the aggressive driving of his father, Homer.
As he begins to be successful, he enrolls in the an international competition with other pilots of his age. The most prominent of these is Paolo Paoletti the son of an Italian millionaire. The latter loses the race to Lisa and announces after crossing the finish line: “Now I disappear and I appear in Ibiza to live in peace as a DJ of chiringuito“.
