Ibiza airport and Lanzarote airport in the Canary Islands experienced significant delays during the week of 16th to 22nd July. Ibiza ranked second nationally for delays, attributed to congestion caused by the privatization of control towers. Lanzarote had delays due to an ongoing air traffic controllers’ strike demanding better working conditions.
