The firefighters of Ibiza rescued a young man yesterday afternoon from the cliff of the viewpoint of es Vedrà. According to he tried to climb to access the top of the viewpoint, “but there came a time when he could neither climb up nor down”.
The firefighters were alerted around nine o’clock at night. First came the troops who were on duty, and then moved ten firefighters from the Group of Vertical Rescue (GRV) of Ibiza, “that mounted a load brake system”, as explained by firefighters.
They also point out that it took five hours until they managed to rescue the young man.
