A website called mispicaderos.com, described as a “Google Maps of quick sex”, has been compiling locations for public encounters since 2009, with over 31,000 spots worldwide, including nearly a hundred in Ibiza and a dozen in Formentera. Users share and rate these “sexcondites” based on discretion, scenery and atmosphere, ranging from car parks and viewpoints to secluded coves and urban corners. Examples include Ibiza city’s multiplex car park, Fruitera street’s panoramic lookout, and Formentera’s cove in Migjorn. The site’s creator, Josean, says the aim is not to promote promiscuity but to provide a safe, consensual outlet for those without private space. The platform functions as a collaborative, anonymous network where the community reviews and discusses each location.
