A father, age 49, and his son, age 3have been seriously injured in a traffic accident frontal between two cars occurred this Friday at noon on the road to Sant Joan (EI300) at the height of kilometer 18.9, as reported by SAMU 061.
The emergency service received at 12.15 hours a notice of the accident on the road in an area of poor coverage, which indicated that there was an overturned car with a person and a child inside who were trapped.
A Guardia Civil patrol came across the accident.
From 061 they requested the urgent presence of firefighters to free the two injured. The Emergency Medical Coordination Center mobilized two Advanced Life Support ambulances and one Basic Life Support ambulance.
Both patients were transferred to the Hospital de Ibiza Can Misses prior notice to activate the polytrauma code. The patients are in critical condition.
