Grammy Award-winning DJ and music iconhouseroger Sanchez, gives the keys in a video entitled: 'How djs maintain a healthy lifestyle'

The dj Roger Sanchez has shared on his social networks tips to maintain a healthy lifestyle in his profession. To play music in a nightclub in Ibiza it is not necessary to drink alcohol, do drugs or stay until the end of the party. At least this is what Roger Sanchez says in a video recorded during the International Music Summit Ibiza (IMS) that took place last April in Ibiza, Spain mondrian Ibiza hotel in Cala Llonga.

Grammy award winning dj and house music icon Roger Sanchez gives the keys in this video entitled: ‘How do Djs maintain a healthy lifestyle’.

“I take my job very seriously”, explains the deejay, “I have fun with the party moments, but I don’t lose sight of the reality that I’m here as a servant, this is a service and more than allowing myself to fall down the rabbit holes, i try to see the rabbit holes come.”

As for the diet roger Sanchez points out that he tries to make it “very healthy” and explains that with age she has refined and moved away from sweet things and sugars: “I’ve never been a heavy drinker, fortunately, and I don’t smoke, you know, drugs and all that, I’ve never been that, it’s been a personal choice, but all those choices have allowed me to make decisions that have become a prolonged lifestyle of awareness.”

The key lies, according to Roger Sanchez, in the day after: “I think if you think about how you want to see yourself the next day and just point in that direction and make the choices that will get you there, it becomes a little bit easier.”

“Not doing the after party.”

While you can’t ignore it all, the deejay points out, thinking that it probably won’t end well is very helpful: “Not doing the after party, not doing the hangout, actually, I’m just going to respect my sleep time because I have another gig tomorrow and that really helps me,” he concludes.

Roger Sanchez hails from New York City’s vibrant club scene. He is known for his legendary anthems ‘Another Chance’ and ‘Turn Around’. Pacha Ibiza nightclub, at whose opening he played, noted in a note “his mastery of remixes that has left an indelible mark on tracks by icons such as Daft Punk, Madonna and No Doubt.”

With four DJ Awards for ‘Best House DJ’ and a Grammy for his electrifying remix of No Doubt’s ‘Hella Good’, Roger Sanchez’s influence transcends genres, consolidating his place in the history of dance music,” the club said.
