The woman who Conor McGregor allegedly assaulted during a party on board his yacht in Formentera last July has confirmed that he will travel to Spain to provide the necessary statements for the investigation of the case, according to the British newspaper The Sun.

The former UFC champion who was celebrating his 34th birthday when the incident allegedly occurred, has repeatedly denied the allegations. For her part, the victim, reportedly a native of Dublin, filed a formal complaint against Conor McGregor with the Irish police upon her return home.

Conor McGregor assault Investigated by the courts on Ibiza

Spanish police confirmed over the past week the reopening of Conor McGregor’s case for alleged assault. The Juzgado de Instrucción number 1 of Ibiza is currently investigating the case. The alleged victim, after learning of this information and as reported by The Irish Sun on Sunday, has stated that she will travel to Spain to provide her statements to the investigation.

In addition, the woman assures that there are potential witnesses to the event ivolving McGregor.

Separately, in information from the British newspaper, the woman who was allegedly assaulted is also pursuing an application to the High Court in Dublin to preserve any recordings related to the incident, reports British newspaper The Sun.
