Children receive many presents at Christmas, sometimes even too many, which makes them undervalue the new gifts, which soon become part of the bottom of the toy box. One way to avoid this situation is to dose out all the toys that arrive at this time of year, both your own and those of relatives, and offer them to the child little by little.
Another option is to ask them to give experiences as gifts to our children, or to have the parents give them as gifts.
An experience does not necessarily have to be something expensive, what is really important is that the present is something special for them. These are some ideas that may inspire you to carry out others with more or less budget. The experience will also be different depending on the age of the child:
Visit to the alpaca farm in es Figueral. Children tend to like animals, and specifically exotic species. Inside you can see octopuses, moray eels, blue sharks, lobsters or manta rays in this natural sea cave. Outside there is a small bar for refreshments. Discover Bibo Park. Bibo Park, located on the road to Sant Antoni, offers the possibility of getting to know the native flora, as well as learning how a photobioreactor works, seeing a recreation of the Mediterranean salt pans, drinking water directly from the atmosphere or trying the first plant piano in the world. It may be aimed at older children, but a plant piano leaves no one indifferent. Riding a boat. We live on an island and it is easy to find some maritime excursion to do with the little ones and simply enjoy the ride looking for dolphins or the sea breeze in the face. The route between Ibiza and Santa Eulària or going to Formentera are some of the economic possibilities offered by the island.
Ball park marathon. On the island there are several places with these characteristics for the enjoyment of the little ones, such as Dofi Park, Ipark or Gran Piruleto Park Ibiza. A bouncy castle at home. If you have space, you can rent one of these inflatable games and let your child enjoy alone or with his friends the magic of the air stuffed in plastic to jump until he has no more strength left. Flying through the trees with zip lines. A good plan for children is the Acrobosc Adventure Park, in Cala Pada (Santa Eulària). Although closed from October to April, the gift can be given later and not necessarily at Christmas. The circuit offers zip-line experiences of varying difficulty and Tibetan bridges. The price ranges from 15 to 25 euros. Bird watching in ses Salines. Get some good binoculars and visit the Natural Park of ses Salines as if you were Dr. Livingstone. Children find it hard to stand still and lack patience, many parents do too. But when it comes to bird watching, the reward of doing nothing and just waiting in silence is worth the effort. Horseback riding. Horses are fascinating and cause great admiration for their plant and nobility. The simple fact of visiting a horse stable can be a great experience for children.
