A man has been injured, with guarded prognosis, when the car he was driving this afternoon on the road of Can Fornet. The accident took place at kilometer 2 of the aforementioned road, located in the municipality of Santa Eulària.

According to the first information, the vehicle, a white Dacia Dokker, has collided with a telephone pole, which has been broken at the bottom leaving the wires hanging over the road. After the impact, the vehicle left the road on its right side and hit a carob tree.
The Guardia Civil de Tráfico and the Local Police of Santa Eulalia have attended the driver of the vehicle, who was later transferred by an ambulance to a hospital.

Two roadside rescue teams from Grúas Ibiza were required to extract the vehicle, which was wedged between a stone wall and the tree, while the Guardia Civil has regulated the traffic and closed the road to traffic in both directions
Subsequently, telephone technicians have come to remove the cables, which were only a meter and a half high above the road.
The rescue of the car has been complicated because the operator has had to save these telephone and fiber optic cables to return the vehicle to the road, with the danger of leaving the area without internet, so it has been a very complicated and risky service.
